Rachmaninoff Concerto No. 3
Arranged for Solo Piano
This project began in 2019 when I was sponsored to make a direct transcription of Christopher Falzone's Single Piano Arrangement of Rachmaninoff's Concerto No. 3 in D minor. Along with this I began creating Youtube videos explaining the musical intricacies of this masterpiece.
Somewhere in the exposition of the first movement I realized that Falzone’s arrangement, while amazing in certain regards, was incomplete, often leaving out key orchestral elements. Some aspects of the first movement exposition have kept Falzone's ideas, but changes have been made throughout to include more orchestra lines. During the development of the first movement and all following sections I began to create my own version directly from the score.
All transcription, arrangement, editing and engraving has been done by me. As a result, I routinely update the files when I find any mistakes or corrections. When you purchase once you get access to ALL updated versions free of charge!
